The woman was described by her own brother as crazy, out-of-control, and promiscuous. She died of a drug overdose. The movie is more than generous to her.

Level 1 Hell yeah Im excited for Clint Eastwoods Richard Jewell to come out next month. That movie tells the story of a real life trucel. Security guard saves hundreds of people from a bomb, but because hes fat short and lives with his mom the media accuses him of being involved in the bombing level 2 This is why you never do a good deed for normies as a subhuman. They will never see you as good if you are ugly or low status. level 2 Oh fuck. PSL 9 Giga-Stacy Olivia Wilde is in the movie. My money is that she is the prosecutor and just virgin shames him for the entire movie. AND Jon Hamm is in the movie. LOOOL. My money is that Olivia and Jon Hamm team up as Chad and Stacy to bully the fat incel security guard. level 1 I just watched it yesterday. Pretty good movie. level 1 Theyll finally understand our struggle level 1 I dont think normies are smart enough to swallow the blackpill. I talked to a lot of normies and foids and they just say wow good acting. This is a sub to discuss heightism issues and height discrimination against men. We are not here to debate if it exists. Rule 1 is that there is no denying the irrefragable proof of height discrimination against men. Reddit Inc 2020. All rights reserved.
Last years' thread: link. My mum has been a member of the producers branch since the early 2000s. She has never been nominated for an Oscar, however, she has worked on 3 Oscar winning films. She is nearly in her 50s and still watches films religiously everyday. She wants me to clarify to everyone that she is indeed not an American and that has definitely factored into some of her opinions. For obvious reasons, I can't give too much detail, but my mother has never been shy of controversy and/or expressing her feelings on things she likes and hates. Anyway, on that note, grab a coffee/tea and let's begin! Best Motion Picture of the Year It's been an incredible year for film. I think this might be one of the best 'Best Picture' races we've had in a long time. I just about liked every film nominated on this list, however, three of the films I wasn't the biggest fan of. I did not like Little Woman, whatsoever, I found it to be a convoluted mess in terms of story telling. I just can't wrap my head around why she [Greta Gerwig] cast older actresses to play the children in the film. The kids should've been played by younger actresses, and the four ladies we got, should've been the representatives of those younger versions of themselves, but in the film there's no indication as to whether or not they're meant to be young or old- aside from a haircut, I couldn't tell the difference in time or age and just left confused and annoyed by the end. Joker was more-or-less the same for me. I couldn't care for the film, it was just 'The King of Comedy' with a superhero villain- and I hated Joaquin's performance- I felt as though the whole film was trying to be larger than it was. The Irishman was boring and that's all I have to say about that. Now, the rest of these films, I throughly enjoyed. I loved the racing scenes of Ford v Ferrari, however, they lost me at the end of the film when Christian Bale's character die's in the crash. I loved the scene, but the film kept going! Why? If it had ended there and then, I think I would've rated it higher, but of course it had to keep going- ugh. Jojo Rabbit I adored. I found the film to be sweet and charming, yet darkly comical- I loved it! I've been a fan of Taika [Waititi] since 'Boy' 2010. I'd love to see him go on to win! I think the film won me over within the first scene, but sedimented it in the 'Gestapo' scene. These last four films I loved. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood reminded me of the golden age of Hollywood, which I wasn't nostalgic for until I saw this film. Somehow, even the most mundane scenes- like the one where they're all on set- he [Tarantino] made interesting. I found the ending to be brilliant. You think the film will lead to the Manson murders, but instead leads to the murders' getting murdered by an acid fuelled Brad Pitt and a goddamn flamethrower. It reminded me of work in all the good ways. from talent breaking down in their trailer due to something they didn't like on set, to an actual fight between crew, to drugs, glamour and everything inbetween- loved every minute of it! 1917 was also exceptional- albeit a gimmick in many ways- and I was well along for this ride from start to finish. Although I wasn't emotionally involved with any of the characters in the film, I did find the quest to be dyer, which you can't say for these types of films. I also couldn't imagine the logistical nightmare that would've been the organisation of all the shots, actors, sets, props, etc in this film. These types of films are not easy to make and the fact that Sam [Mendes] and his crew succeeded, should really be awarded. It's an outstanding piece of work and I hope it gets the commendations it deserves. For Marriage Story, I don't have too much to say other than I really liked it. I like the way it was told, the way it unfolded, and eventually, the way it concluded. I did find the film lost my interest towards the end, but I loved it regardless of its flaws. However, being the last film I saw of all the nominees this year, I had to vote for Parasite. It literally fucking blew me away. I was not prepared for how good this film was. It was tightly written, edited, paced, acted- everything in this film blended and meshed in the most perfect way. I didn't have a single flaw thought the whole film and even when it went crazy, I still fucking loved it. Parasite is by far and large the best film of the year and I have absolutely zero problem with voting for it. If it doesn't win, it'll be a shame, but I think it'll have a longer lasting legacy than any other film nominated this year. My vote: 1. Parasite, 2. 1917, 3. Marriage Story, 4. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, 5. Ford v Ferrari, 6. Jojo Rabbit, 7. The Irishman, 8. Joker and 9. Little Woman. Best Actor in a Leading Role I found The Two Popes to be a very boring mess of a movie, so he's out [referring to Jonathan Pryce. I liked Leo, but he's won before. I hated Joaquin Phoenix in Joker. Everyone seems to love him, but I consistently felt like he was going overboard in that performance- he was trying too hard and it showed. I simply could not vote for him when there were two better performances in this category this year that weren't overbearing or feeling like they were trying too hard. It was a hard choice between Adam and Antonio [Driver and Banderas respectively] but I ended up going with Adam. He felt like he was trying to mend and smooth over that divorce and you can really tell his character was trying to be a good person despite the situation. I loved that he played to both his dramatic and comedic chops. I especially loved the 'knife' scene where he pretends its no big deal, yet he passes out on the floor- brilliant! Antonio was a close second- that scene with the wife is still stuck in my head- but Adam I liked more. My vote: Adam Driver - Marriage Story Best Actress in a Leading Role I haven't seen Harriet, so I'm not voting for her [Cynthia Erivo. I didn't like Little Woman, so Saoirse's out. I liked Charlize in Bombshell, but her makeup is doing more work than her acting and I didn't think she was as good as the other two ladies. Now, I loved Scarlet in Marriage story and I probably would've voted for her in another year, but Renée's got this in the bag. She didn't just play Judy Garland, she was Judy Garland. She made this real person her own without it ever becoming a caricature. She'll win and I think she deserves to. My vote: Renée Zellweger - Judy Best Actor in a Supporting Role I didn't get a chance to see Tom Hanks, but it seems like a typical role for him. I didn't like The Two Popes, so he's out [Anthony Hopkins. I've seen Al Pacino do what he did in The Irishman before, so again, he's out. That leaves me with two performances I liked. Now, Joe Pesci. what a performance. This character was so calm and collected, yet you could feel his 'silent but deadly' nature. He didn't need to be overtly loud to get his point across, like he's done in previous films, but instead all he needed to do was give you a look and/or glance, and you knew everything he was trying to evoke. The scene where he's having breakfast with DeNiro and saying to his character that the only reason he's alive is because he let it happen- brilliant. Ultimately, I went with Brad Pitt. He just makes that movie so much better. He's just that friend, that despite everything that happens, is always there for you. I think he won me over in the 90s when I first worked with him. I don't think his charisma has ever changed at all and I feel as though he was just playing himself in this movie. I loved him. My vote: Brad Pitt - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Best Actress in a Supporting Role Didn't see Kathy in Richard Jewell. Didn't like Margot in Bombshell; she was better in Once Upon a Time. The Little Women girl was too old for her character and I liked her more in Midsommer, so she's also out. I loved Jojo Rabbit, but Scarlet didn't blow me away with her performance. she was better in Marriage Story. I did like Laura [Dern] in Marriage Story, though. so I'll vote for her. This was a pretty week category this year. would've liked to see one of the Korean actresses from Parasite get in, but oh well. My vote: Laura Dern - Marriage Story Best Achievement in Directing Despite everything I've said so far, I actually believe that all these men are worthy of this nomination. I would've liked to see another female get a nomination, but the only person I can think of, that was worthy enough, would've been Lulu Wang, but I digress. I'm gonna knock Joker off the list because I wasn't the biggest fan of the film. Marty and Sam I'm also gonna knock off the list because they've won before. I was initially going to vote for Quentin, but this was before I'd seen Parasite. Bong is such an incredible director that I might never get another chance to vote for him. He and the film deserve my vote. My vote: Bong Joon Ho - Parasite Best Original Screenplay Didn't think the script for 1917 was all that amazing. I really enjoyed Knives Out, but its not as good as the other three nominees. Of those three; Parasite's the best. Quentin's won before and Marriage Story wasn't in the same league as Parasite. My vote: Parasite Best Adapted Screenplay Jojo Rabbit. Little Women and The Two Popes were a definite no. The Irishman and Joker were both okay, but I didn't like the films as much. I want Taika to win, so I'm voting for him here. My vote: Jojo Rabbit Best Achievement in Cinematography The Irishman, joker and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's cinematography didn't wow me like The Lighthouse and 1917's did. I actually ended up voting for The Lighthouse. It was my third favourite film of the year, and it was such a shame to not see it nominated anywhere else, so I voted for it here. 1917's cinematography is the film- and Roger will win- but I just liked The Lighthouse's more. From the lighting, to the composition, it felt like a worthy pick to me. My vote: The Lighthouse Best Achievement in Film Editing The Irishman was too long. Joker's editing had pacing issues, but the scene with DeNiro was great. I liked the dynamic editing of Jojo Rabbit where they balanced dramatic and comedic scenes together effortlessly. I was gonna give it to Parasite, but I had to vote for Ford v Ferrari in this one. Although I didn't like what happened after 'that' scene I mentioned earlier. the whole race scene at the end was just too good not to vote for. My vote: Ford v Ferrari Best Achievement in Production Design The Irishman and Jojo Rabbit's production design I didn't find that amazing. I really liked all the restoration work in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I also liked Parasite's, but I had to choose 1917. They actually built the town, trenches, no mans land, town, etc. My vote: 1917 Best Achievement in Costume Design The Irishman was just suites. I didn't find Jojo Rabbit to do anything special, but I guess it's here because of the shoes. I liked Little Women's costumes, but period pieces always win. Joker's were good, but I went with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood just for the sheer amount of costumes that would've had to have for that movie. My vote: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling Didn't see Maleficent. 1917s wasn't at all special or noteworthy. The final three I really liked, though. I chose Bombshell because they actually made these actresses and actors into the Fox News employees. My vote: Bombshell Best Original Score Star Wars. urgh no thank you. Marriage Story I don't remember. Little Women's score I really liked, but I can't say the same for the rest of the film. It was a tough choice between 1917 and Joker, but I had to go with Joker. Hildur's score for Joker perfectly captured the character and it was trying to represent. It just worked so well for the film that I had to vote for it- it's a memorable and haunting score that I soon won't forget. My vote: Joker Best Original Song I have listened to all the songs, but Rocketman gets my vote because this is its only nomination. My vote: Rocketman Best Achievement in Sound Editing/Mixing Yes, I know the difference. I voted for Ford v Ferrari in both categories because I felt as though it had the most unique blend of both the sound and the visuals. It worked for the film and worked for me. My vote: Ford v Ferrari Best Achievement in Visual Effects I don't wanna give any of these films my vote, but I ended up choosing The Irishman. I want the technology used in the film to go on and evolve, and hopefully to be used in more films in the future. I like the idea of actors- young or old- playing older or younger versions of themselves in film. My vote: The Irishman Best Documentary Feature My favourite category. I turned The Edge of Democracy off. For Sama was okay, but The Cave was really good. I would've given it to The Cave, but the director won for Last Men in Aleppo. I didn't think I would like Honeyland as much as I did, but I had to give it to American Factory. My vote: American Factory Best Documentary Short They were all okay, but I felt very connected to Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone. It was such a sweet and interesting story of a sexist systemic system and these women going against it. I found it to be a sweet and heartwarming documentary. My vote: Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone Best Animated Feature Film I didn't think too much about this one. Toy Story has won many times before, so that's out. How to Train Your Dragon 3 and Klaus I didn't get a chance to see, so I didn't consider them. I really liked I lost My Body, but I had to choose Missing Link on this one. Stop motion doesn't get enough love, so it deserves some recognition here. My vote: Missing Link Best Animated Short Film I don't have too much to say on this category. Daughter, Sister and Memorable were fine. Kitbull I liked; Hair Love I liked more. My vote: Hair Love Best Live Action Short Film Nefta Football Club was my favourite. And my god I love that ending in the football field. My vote: Nefta Football Club Best International Feature Film Parasite will win, so there's no point in me voting for this category. I abstain. Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to read what my mum voted for in this upcoming oscars. I hope you all enjoyed! I apologise if there are any grammatical mistakes within this post, I'm not exactly a journalist. If you have any further questions for my mum or I, I'd love to answer them. This was all recorded on my phone, but has been slightly edited due to tangents. Have yourself a nice day.

In 2014, he investigated true-life valour in American Sniper, with Bradley Cooper portraying U. S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. Next, in 2016, he mounted a dramatic retelling of Chesley “Sully” Sullenbergers story with Tom Hanks as his lead. Last year, it was the heroes who thwarted a terror attack aboard the 15:17 train from Amsterdam to Paris that captured his attention. But for close to half a decade, the five-time Oscar winner has thought about the story of Richard Jewell, the security guard who saved thousands of people at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics from a bomb explosion. Jewell was initially praised as a hero, before the media falsely accused him of being a terrorist who planted the device. “Its the great American tragedy, ” Eastwood, 89, tells the Sun in an exclusive interview. “Its the ultimate drama in a way because hes a real-life hero who has been completely screwed over by the public and the medias rush to make a judgment. ” Jewell, played to brutal effect by Paul Walter Hauser (I, Tonya; BlacKkKlansman) was exonerated, but not before his life was ruined. He died at 44 in 2007. “Its an important story to tell, ” Hauser says, seated beside the venerable filmmaker. “Its not just a notable tragedy … were trying to right the wrongs of that false narrative of him. ” Trailer RICHARD JEWELL - Official Trailer [HD] Gen. Flynn was set up by FBI, told no lawyer needed when FBI sprang its perjury trap The sentencing memo submitted by lawyers for General Michael Flynn contains details that ought to outrage anyone not consumed with hatred and desire for vengeance against anyone who worked for President Trump, however briefly. Simply put, he was misled and bamboozled into a trap, based on the FBI's own documents. Interesting a movie released abut the FBI falsely accused an innocent man, when the FBI has been exposed by the IG as incompetent (and possibly corrupt.

This is actually common... Wow never knew this story. Mike Wallace in a legend. Watch Movie Richard jewellers. The media has been lying to us for decades. Not only did they wrongly accuse a man who was actually a hero, they also shortened his life. Do not believe their smear campaigns that continue to this day. It is a bittersweet movie that will make you laugh and cry, all at the same time. The sad thing is that it is based on a true story. Poor guy! He was a hero, and did not deserve to be treated so badly.

Whos here after watching a trailer. The music for this trailer is so good. The acting in Clint's latest effort is astounding.
He has gathered the best actors he could find (Bates, Rockwell, Hamm) and slam-dunked his movie with a tour d'force by Hauser, a relatively unknown fellow who channels poor Richard Jewell.
This drama is a sobering reminder that government power (like the media) can destroy.
What I found to be the greatest takeaway was this- that "profiling" suspects can be terribly misleading and destructive, a punch in the gut.
Rockwell is the friend and advocate who tears down the government facade. Bates has never been better as the faithful mom. And Hamm is. well, Don Draper has joined the FBI!
See this movie-you win't take your eyes off the screen.
Like I said in the header: MESMERIZING! I would give this movie 11 stars but alas they only gave me 10.
Eastwood has a home run hit here, but I doubt folks will pay the big bucks to see this without a lot of CG or a light saber somewhere. Clint has beautifully honored a very decent Richard Jewell.
That Jewell managed to endure and rise above the shame is itself a tribute to this true American hero.
Hello Warner Bros and greetings from Germany, I would like to say that even in germany and even in my circle of friends there are very many people who would love to watch the snyder cut of justice league including me. And one last thing: ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Watch richard jewell full movie. The fbi is compromised by, adl & splc. the fbi needs to be abolished, as they are anti-European. An outstanding movie that is beautifully timed given the horrible collusion between the FBI and the mainstream media we are witnessing on a daily basis (and have been for at least 50 year now. Well-acted, well-edited, and well-directed to convey the utter frustration felt by the victim of this media/government witch hunt. The only unfortunate part is that the film did not come out sooner, before Mr. Jewell and Kathy Scruggs passed away. Everyone should see this film, if nothing else, to send a message to Hollywood that we all want to see more films of this quality and subject matter.
This is what biased media does to people. Gotta love Clint Eastwood and Rest In Peace to the Hero Richard Jewell. In the Movie Bobi (Kathy Bates) implore to President Clinton to help his son.
